Issue description

The 40 years of the Peruvian Civil Code represent a transcendental milestone in the legal evolution of the country, marking a before and after in the regulation of civil relations. Enacted in 1984, this body of law has been the fundamental pillar on which the principles of justice, equity and legal certainty in Peru have been founded. Throughout these four decades, it has guided the legal life of the country, adapting to social and technological changes, consolidating itself as a crucial tool for the protection of rights and the promotion of economic and social development.
