The contemporary perspectives of criminal law and criminal procedure are oriented towards the transformation and adaptation of these disciplines in the face of the complex challenges of the current context. These include the implementation of innovative strategies to combat organized crime, the reconfiguration of regulations to guarantee more effective protection of fundamental rights such as sexual freedom, the strengthening of mechanisms for comprehensive reparations for victims of violence, and the consolidation of rigorous criteria for the scientific admissibility of evidence. Taken together, these perspectives seek to promote a more equitable and efficient justice system that is more in line with the demands of a constantly evolving society.
